John Sargent, fourth generation Bellerive resident, historian and author will discuss the history of the Rosny Barn Complex. The Barn dates from 1815 and John will discuss its relevance to the Clarence community. Non-members welcome
Peter O’May is a descendant of the famous O’May family who arrived in Bellerive in 1856 and who were regular ferry operators from the 1860s until the present day. He will discuss his 50 years’ service and experience as a ferry captain.

The Bellerive Historical Society is working with Community Radio to produce and broadcast stories about Tasmania. Phil Tyson from Community Radio will give an update of this project including examples of stories ready to be broadcast. Phil's presentation will be preceded by a short AGM.
